CO2 Performance Ladder
Dutch Cabin Group is committed to making its products and processes more sustainable and inspiring other companies to do the same. Together, we strive to limit global warming to no more than 1.5 degrees.
The first step in achieving this objective is to gain insight into the company's emissions. In 2022, Dutch Cabin Group therefore chose to be certified for level 3 of the CO2 Performance Ladder of the Foundation for Climate Friendly Procurement and Business (SKAO).
Using the methods from the CO2 Performance Ladder Handbook 3.1, we have provided insight into our emissions. The emissions are based on the Scope's of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol: Scope 1 (direct emissions, such as gas, diesel, gasoline), Scope 2 (indirect emissions, such as electricity, air travel) and Scope 3 (indirect emissions of material emissions and waste).
In our assessment, we looked not only at our own operations, but also at the impact with suppliers and customers, as well as our social efforts. We encourage every company to become certified for the Carbon Performance Ladder to better understand their carbon footprint. Only by understanding where the carbon footprint comes from can we take steps for a better environment.
