This privacy statement applies to all services and companies that come under Dutch Cabin Group Holding B.V., hereafter: the Dutch Cabin Group, part of Dutch Cabin Group Holding B.V.

The Dutch Cabin Group strives to provide high-quality services. Reliability is a major factor in this. We regard respect for our customers’ privacy and careful handling of their personal data as essential for guaranteeing the reliability of our services. Our goal: protection of personal data

The Dutch Cabin Group respects the privacy of its customers. The protection of personal data is therefore very important to the Dutch Cabin Group in the performance of its activities. Personal data is handled and secured with the greatest possible care. The Dutch Cabin Group makes every effort to ensure an appropriate level of data security during the collection, transmission and storage of personal data, in accordance with the nature of such data. The Dutch Cabin Group has implemented has implemented technology and processes to safeguard your privacy from unauthorised access and improper use and will continue to update these measures as new technology becomes available or new, generally accepted security standards become effective.


What is personal data?

Personal data is any data that can identify you as a person, such as your name, address, date of birth and bank account number. Your IP address or user name may also be regarded as personal data. We require this personal data to be able to provide our services to you.


What personal data do we process?

We would like to maintain the high level of service you are accustomed to. We therefore require your personal data to ensure that you can make use of our services.

Depending on the service you purchase from us, we may ask you to provide the following personal details:

What do we use your personal data for?

No sale of personal data to third parties

We are committed to ensuring that we are transparent about the ways in which we use your personal data. The personal data that you have provided to us in order to be able to use the services of the Dutch Cabin Group will only be used for the purposes mentioned below. We will not sell your personal data to any third parties, but data may be exchanged within the Dutch Cabin Group within the context of the aforementioned purposes.


Purpose and use of personal data

As a supplier of modular housing, the Dutch Cabin Group supplies products and services in the field of housing. We collect and use the personal data that you have entrusted to us in order to be of service to you or to inform you. When you purchase a product or service, or contact the Dutch Cabin Group, the Dutch Cabin Group records your personal data. The Dutch Cabin Group processes these personal data for the purpose of entering into and performing service agreements and for the following purposes.

Prevention of fraud and misuse. Unfortunately, companies, including the Dutch Cabin Group, are sometimes confronted with wrongly submitted claims. As this is not in the interests of the Dutch Cabin Group or its customers, personal data may also be used to combat this type of misuse.

Sharing with third parties. For a number of services, we use external parties who support us in providing the product or service you have requested and for this reason your personal data will be shared with this third party. Your personal data may be passed on to other companies within the Dutch Cabin Group, or third parties who provide or help us to provide the services and/or products offered. Of course, we make sound agreements with these external parties about the careful handling of your personal data.

If you have given us permission to do so, the Dutch Cabin Group may share your personal data with other companies within the Dutch Cabin Group (see, which may offer you information about new services and/or products. If you no longer wish to receive this information, please notify the Dutch Cabin Group.

Improvement of services. We use the personal data that we collect through our services in order to be able to serve you well and to develop new products and services..

Improvement of website and applications. In order to be able to constantly improve our website, the Dutch Cabin Group records personal and other data on the use of our website. Examples of data we maintain about the use of the website include:

  • The number of visitors per part of the day.
  • The Dutch Cabin Group and the content offered.
  • The number of 'clicks' before a product is purchased.
  • The settings of your device, which your browser sends us, and which may make you uniquely identifiable and enable us to track your visit to our website.

Relationship management and marketing. We process personal data for the purpose of relationship management and in order to carry out targeted marketing activities. On the basis of information from internal and external sources and your visit to our web pages, we can provide you with appropriate and targeted commercial offers, for example by post, telephone or the internet.

Legal obligations. In some cases we may be forced to provide personal data to authorities or other third parties. For example, if necessary in connection with a legal obligation or for the performance of a public law duty.


Storage term

We do not store your personal data for longer than is necessary, unless we are legally obliged to store your personal data for a longer period. We need your personal data in order to be of service to you. This, in the first instance, also determines the term we apply for  retaining your personal data. Our basic principle is that we only retain personal data for as long as it is necessary to provide you with the requested service. After this we will remove, protect or anonymise your personal data.

In some cases, we are required by law to retain personal data for a longer period of time. For example, tax law requires the retention of fiscally relevant personal data for a period of seven years. This may also apply to your personal data if and for as long as it is fiscally relevant.


Security and processors

We protect the personal data stored with us. We will, of course, do everything we can to protect your personal data as effectively as possible against unauthorised access, loss or theft. We have drawn up an internal policy to ensure that our products and services are designed in such a way that an appropriate level of security applies as standard. Employees of the Dutch Cabin Group only have access to your personal data if necessary.


We make agreements about the security of the personal data processed on our behalf by a third party. If we engage a third party to process personal data on our behalf, we ensure that this party also meets our security requirements by concluding a 'processor agreement' in which we lay down the security measures to be taken and the arrangements made for the use of personal data.


Your rights and contact

You have the right to view the personal data we hold about you. In some cases you are also entitled to have your personal data corrected, blocked or deleted. Please contact the Dutch Cabin Group for more information. If you have any questions about how the Dutch Cabin Group handles your personal data, or if you wish to exercise any of your privacy rights, please contact the Dutch Cabin Group at, stating 'Privacy Dutch Cabin Group'. If the Dutch Cabin Group is unable to determine (in full) which personal data your request for access, modification or deletion relates to, the Dutch Cabin Group may ask you to further specify your request. The Dutch Cabin Group will suspend the execution of your request until you have provided this further specification.

The Dutch Cabin Group reserves the right to change its privacy policy. The Dutch Cabin Group therefore advises you to check this page regularly to see if any changes have been implemented. We will notify you of any material changes to our privacy policy.
