Project manager in Coevorden

What will you do in our position?
In your daily work, from the handover from the sales team, you are responsible for the progress of the entire project. You work simultaneously on different projects in various stages and of varying size.
Dutch Cabin Group delivers custom work, so every project is different. Both internally and externally you are the first point of contact for the projects. On average, you are on the road 2 days a week to visit construction sites or suppliers, go to hearings of new tenders, attend or chair construction meetings. The remaining time you work at the office in Coevorden or Klundert, or from home.
In addition, the tasks below are also part of your job responsibilities:
- Going through the quotation with the client in detail and then making final choices regarding such things as colors and equipment.
- Ensuring that your colleagues have the correct information to produce production drawings and bills of materials.
- You work closely with the work planner who procures materials, and together you evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers. You ultimately decide which party to work with.
- You will also have to deal with issues such as earthwork foundation, construction, fire protection, E&W.
- You will regularly be found in the production hall once production has started.
- The continuous monitoring of the progress within the projects under your responsibility, you maintain overview and you solve interim bottlenecks. Hereby you monitor set targets and deadlines, such as the work budget, planning, quality, safety, more and less work and keeping the agreements made.
- You manage structured work processes, finances, time, work meetings, handover times and follow-up actions.
We do not yet work with project teams; you will realize this and ensure that responsibilities are where they belong. You manage these project teams at project level and on an equal footing.
You will be working under the banner of DirectBouw in Coevorden, part of Dutch Cabin Group. But your workplace can be throughout the country.
What do we expect from you?
Preferably, you have several years of work experience in a similar position. In addition, you are in possession of:
- HBO working and thinking level and well-developed technical understanding
- You are a construction talent with an MBO+ / HBO working and thinking level
- You are an experienced manager and know how to motivate your people well
- You are collegial and don't mind helping out your colleagues and can support them where necessary. A real team player.
- You have experience with the administrative process involved in a construction project
- You value quality highly.
- You have a hands-on mentality
- You have excellent Dutch communication skills.
